Associate Degree of Applied Science in Aeronautics
(Professional Pilot Program)

This degree program may be the right degree for you, if you are interested in the following careers:

~ Aerial photographer or surveyor

The Professional Pilot Program (PPP) is designed for the student interested in pursuing a career as a professional pilot. This would include working for the major airlines, corporate flight operations, and general aviation.


Associate Degree of Applied Science in Aeronautical Instruction
(Instructor Pilot Program)

This degree program may be the right degree for you, if you are interested in the following careers*:

~ Single engine pilot or multi engine pilot
~ Commercial pilot (charter, corporate, etc.)
~ First officer at commuter airline
~ Flight and/or instrument instructor

*May require student to take specific electives to receive certification.

The Instructor Pilot Program adds instructor privileges to an existing Commercial Pilot Certificate with single engine or multi engine privileges. This program provides all necessary ground and flight instruction for tasks required by the Single Engine or Multi Engine Instructor Test Standards. This program prepares students with the necessary skills and academic knowledge to further their aviation career and build hours towards a goal of becoming a professional pilot.


Associate Degree of Applied Science in Aviation Management & Administration
(Aviation Management & Administration Program)

This degree program may be the right degree for you, if you are interested in the following careers:
~ Small airport or FBO operations and management
~ Flight and ground operations
~ Aviation management staff
~ Airport planning staff
~ Airport maintenance and safety

The Aviation Administration & Management Program splits its focus evenly between management supervisory and administrative positions in aviation and other aviation-related professional fields. This course of study combines technical and aeronautical courses with courses in management and information systems, marketing and public relations, financial accounting, operations, financial accounting, sales and technical assistance, contracts, labor laws and human resource management techniques. Students will also learn about laws and regulations specific to the aviation industry, including ones put forth by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). In addition, the graduate of the Aviation Administration & Management Program will hold a Private Pilot Certificate.
